AquaReina (Queen of the Waters)

The Mermaid Society AquaReina program is back for its second year, and we are thrilled to announce our new ambassadors for 2023-2024! These individuals embody our founding pillars of Stewardship, Preservation, Local, Art, Sustainability, and Heritage, and we are excited to have them on board to help us further our mission - celebrating all things San Marcos, particularly the beautiful San Marcos River.

The AquaReina’s will play a crucial role in expanding our community outreach efforts, supporting our Youth Eco Guardianship Programming, and representing Mermaid Capital of Texas in public appearances such as signature parades in surrounding cities and creative media efforts to promote guardianship of The San Marcos River.

We are honored to introduce the 2023-2024 AquaReina’s, a group of talented and enthusiastic individuals who will bring their unique skills and passions to our cause. In the coming days and weeks, we will be spotlighting each Ambassador so that you can get to know them better.
